OPTIMIZE YOUR LINKEDIN PROFILE – DAY 2

Here are the 2 things we talked about today to continue optimizing your LinkedIn Profile: 

  1. Optimize your headline
    1. You can use 110 characters
    2. Instead of just stating your title, state what you do and what your primary skills are
    3. Use special characters to separate skills by creating your headline in Word or Notes and then copy and paste into LinkedIn
  2. Optimize your Summary Section
    1. Speak in the 1st person
    2. Use bullet points whenever possible
    3. Identify your client’s pain points and then how you can solve them
    4. Talk about what you do, how you do it and the results to be expected
    5. Tell people how else they can contact you
    6. At the end list skills and relevant hashtags
